Our vision is to grow Island Thrill Seekers into the most trusted and exciting tour brand in The Bahamas.
To know and understand the Bahamian ocean first-hand; to ride the sapphire waters every day; to be kissed by a golden sunshine most days; to feel the balmy breezes of our tropics – this is the path that Jamaine D. Johnson chose when he became a boat captain.
He has never stopped taking to the waters every day weather permits. This hands-on manager is a hit with tourists, who constantly ask for him upon their return.
His hobbies are fishing, snorkeling, and exploring the beautiful Bahamian waters. As owner, CEO and Captain of Island Thrill Seekers, is vision is to drive a thriving Bahamian business that is a well-known and trusted brand in the tourism industry, creating unforgettable experiences for visitors to The Bahamas. He also seeks to help more Bahamians appreciate the rich natural beauty surrounding them.
His philanthropic spirit led him to launch the “Feed the People Bahamas” Programme, which he successfully held in the community where he grew up as well as the Family Islands. Captain Jamaine teamed up with world renown Chef Maxel Hardy for a special edition of Feed the People Bahamas in response to the devastating Hurricane Dorian, which mainly affected the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama. Together, Captain Jamaine and Chef Maxcel plan to grow “Feed the People Bahamas” into an NGO that reaches people in need throughout the length and breadth of The Bahamas.
